COLONISATION

From 2023 onwards, due to the abolition of the Outer Space Treaty and the advent of the FAL Group’s GEM Tech, nation states began colonising worlds, moons & asteroids throughout Earth’s star system (known later as “System 1”). After the introduction of SQED jump technology in the 2050’s, point-to-point travel to other star systems became possible, leading to short-lived efforts to colonise worlds in a total of 55 other systems.
