SPACE NAVIES

Starting with the British Royal Space Navy (announced in the wake of Galileo’s Disaster), nations began building dedicated space forces from 2026, a process that accelerated due to the Second Cold War. Although different nations used a variety of names & designations for their space militaries, the general term “Space Navy” tends to be applied to describe forces in general.
